In 1993, artist/producer Steve Taylor released arguably his best album to date, Squint. He would go on to release a live album in '95 and then launch a record label called "Squint" that would become home to Sixpence None The Richer, PFR and help launch the careers of bands like Chevelle and LA Symphony. Taylor has produced hit albums from artists like Sixpence and Newsboys and last year released a brand new, fan-funded film (from the director's chair), Blue Like Jazz.

Steve formed a band not long ago that includes the likes of industry vets Jimmy Abegg, John Mark Painter and none other than former Newsboys singer/drummer Peter Furler. Steve Taylor and The Perfect Foil, as they have begun calling themselves, released their first song nationally on the Blue Like Jazz soundtrack, titled "A Life Preserved." This song is just one of many Taylor and his band of talented cohorts have been working on.

Now, twenty years later, Taylor has launched a Kickstarter campaign to get this long-awaited new album finished and released by May 2014. You can pitch in to help the album get made by visiting the Kickstarter page and choosing one of the many ways you can contribute.
